UEFA president hints about plans for a Champions League final played in the USA

Imagine if the UEFA Champions League final wasn’t played in Europe but instead in the United States of America. While the idea sounds far-fetched, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin said on Tuesday that a plan to host UCL games in the U.S. has been discussed before.

Ceferin really peaked fans’ interest when he hinted that the final could be played in the states.

Arsenal rally from 2-goal deficit in Women's Champions League semifinal

WOLFSBURG, Germany - Two-time European champions VfL Wolfsburg let a two-goal lead slip against Arsenal as the visitors fought back to earn a 2-2 draw in Sunday's Women's Champions League semifinal first leg.

Ewa Pajor and Sveindís Jane Jónsdóttir gave the home side a 2-0 lead inside the first half hour but Arsenal reduced the deficit through Rafaelle Souza on the stroke of halftime before Stina Blackstenius leveled in the second period.

Benfica fans need to be punished after throwing flares onto unsuspecting Inter supporters

There was a horrible moment during Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg between Inter Milan and Benfica in the stands of the San Siro. During the game several Benfica fans hurled flares onto unsuspecting Inter supporters.

The iconic San Siro has an interesting layout where sometimes the away supporters sit above the home fans.

With Benfica trailing on aggregate the traveling fans turned up the heat lighting flares. The scene turned ugly when the individuals holding the flares targeted the section below them filled with Inter fans.

Erling Haaland proves he’s human after smashing a penalty over the bar into the stands

Erling Haaland AKA the Norwegian goal-machine stunned fans during Manchester City’s 1-1 draw vs. Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday. Haaland did what no one thought was possible and he missed a penalty kick.

City entered the second leg of the UCL quarterfinal with a comfortable 3-0 aggregate lead. Haaland had the opportunity to extend the lead to four goals in the 37th minute at the penalty spot after a handball was called on Dayot Upamecano.

Pulisic gets 0 minutes in Chelsea's 4-0 aggregate defeat to Real Madrid

For the 11th time in 13 seasons (mercy me), Real Madrid are through to the Champions League semifinals after Rodrygo's second-half brace at Stamford Bridge put the finishing touches on a commanding 4-0 aggregate victory over Chelsea.

¡Sí era penal! Huge penalty not called on Chucky Lozano as Napoli exit the Champions League

AC Milan are in the Champions League semifinals after drawing Napoli 1-1 (for a 2-1 in aggregate) in the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The Rossoneri will play this stage for the first time since the 2006-07 season, but the history could have been completely different if referee Szymon Marciniak and VAR had not looked to the other side in a clear penalty not called on Mexican winger Hirving "Chucky" Lozano.

I get that it could have been difficult to see it in real-time, but what were they doing at VAR? Watching Looney Tunes?

Bayern drop Sadio Mané from squad for Saturday's game after punching Leroy Sané in the face

BERLIN - Bayern Munich's Sadio Mané will not be part of the squad for Saturday's Bundesliga game against Hoffenheim and has been fined over a row he had with teammate Leroy Sané, the club said on Thursday.

Senegal international Mané clashed with Sané at the end of their 3-0 loss at Manchester City in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg on Tuesday.

Here’s everything Christian Pulisic did at the Bernabéu in the Champions League on Wednesday

He didn’t play, but that doesn't mean that we don't have a recap.

Christian Pulisic vs. Real Madrid

Christian Pulisic's first action was to ignore the artwork on the wall inside the Bernabéu.

That’s the mindset of a champion right there. Why would he focus on the final in Istanbul when he has a big quarterfinal ahead of him? He takes things one step at a time like all winners do.

Next up was getting dressed and killing it in warmups.

Theo Hernández collects Chucky Lozano's soul after throw-in scuffle

Ismaël Bennacer got a lot of high-fives after scoring the only goal in AC Milan's crucial 1-0 win over Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.

However, if we have to choose a man of the match, that recognition should be in the hands of left fullback Theo Hernandez. The dyed-blond Frenchman probably didn't lead any stat some people care about nowadays, but he fueled his teammates from an emotional point of view.

Especially after seeing the aggressive tête-à-tête he starred alongside Mexican Hirving Lozano during a trivial throw-in.

While Los Blancos were beating Chelsea, Real Madrid loanee Brahim Díaz was lifting Milan over Napoli

In beating Napoli 1-0 in their Champions League quarterfinal first leg at the San Siro, Milan exemplified all the UCL cliché's that Real Madrid have entirely owned and turned into bonafide pieces of wisdom over the last decade. Hell, Milan even used a Real Madrid loanee to get it done.

Cliché No. 1, you need to be street wise — basically you need to be in the mold of Theo Hernández.
