Everyone, Robert Lewandowski scored 5 goals in 9 minutes. Now there are a lot of things that can happen in 9 minutes, but scoring 5 goals in a Bundesliga match against a top opponent in the league is about as much an anomaly as Donald Trump leading the primaries for the GOP. But both things are happening, and the goal explosion has spurred something special for Lewandowski. The Polish player has been on an absolte tear since the 5 goal performance. Since then he has added 7 more goals in the following three games after arguably the best 10 minute soccer performance of all time.

As expected, things are going pretty well for the lads in Munich. They are undefeated in 8 Bundesliga matches, scoring 28 goals to their opponents 4. Lewandowski isn't a stranger to scoring bunches of goals in a short period of time. He scored 3 goals in 4 minutes this summer while playing for Poland. He also earned a spot on our top ten greatest performances of all time after his latest act. O, and did we mention things are going pretty well for Bayern in the Champions league? They've rolled in their first two group matches winning by the results of 3-0 and 5-0 against Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb. Up next for Bayern after the international break? Werder Bremen, who are in the bottom half of the Bundesliga table and Arsenal in the Champions League. We've all seen how Arsenal has played this Champions League session, so it's safe to say Lewandowski and Bayerns goal scoring streak will only continue. The only thing that Bayern fans will need to worry about is Pep Guardiola's future. The team is urging him to make a decision on his future quickly as his contract expires next summer.
