Only a few days back, we published a list of 12 of the greatest team goals ever scored. Well, we’re probably gonna have to expand that list to 13 following what Aaron Ramsey and Arsenal did to Fulham today.
A sweeping counterattack that included all manner of flicks, feints, pirouettes, telepathic understanding and sumptuous back heels concluded with Arsenal’s third goal of the match. Ramsey gets credit for the finessed finish and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets the assist, but the all-around play is sensational.
What’s more, the goal helped pave the way for a 5-1 victory, Arsenal’s ninth straight win in all competitions. The three points takes the Gunners up to fourth in the table, above Tottenham on goal difference. Unami Emery’s win percentage as boss now stands at 81.8 percent.
