Cristiano Ronaldo may be hanging up his boots sooner, rather than later. At least that’s what his girlfriend revealed.
Georgina Rodríguez, social media influencer, model and long-time girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo, made headlines this weekend as she made an appearance on the runway at the Vetements Paris Fashion Week show in a dress inspired by Ronaldo’s time in Manchester United.
Rodríguez wore a red dress displaying his iconic kit name and number, signed by the Portuguese for the special occasion.

“For the love of my life. Gio x Vetements” wrote Ronaldo on the jersey.
However, the Spanish supermodel caused an even bigger wave of reactions after the fashion show when she candidly revealed the time frame of when Cristiano Ronaldo will retire. Spoiler, it's pretty soon.

In a video showing Georgina speaking to other models at the show, the Portuguese’s partner revealed that Ronaldo might be hanging up his boots next season, or sooner rather than later.
“Cristiano [will play] one more year, then it’s over. Maybe two, I don’t know,” said Rodríguez.

The end is near for the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, is contractually tied to his current club Al-Nassr until the following 2024-25 season and has not given any hints as to the possibility of a potential renewal with the Saudi Pro League club.
Even so and according to reports, Ronaldo is happy at the club and would not rule out the possibility of extending his contract. He's said to have even agreed on a renewal with the club.

Now, if Rodríguez's prediction is accurate, we could potentially see Ronaldo make a record-breaking six World Cup appearances if called up by the Portuguese national team for the 2026 World Cup in two years.
Despite making the move to Saudi Arabia in 2023, Ronaldo has remained firm in new manager Roberto Martínez’s squad list for all of Portugal’s international duties last year and had nothing short of an extraordinary goalscoring run with the team.
The striker scored 10 goals and provided two assists in the nine games played for the national team in the European Cup qualifiers — strengthening the possibility of seeing him in this summer’s Euro 2024 to be played Germany, looking to win one last international trophy before the end of his career.
