Union Berlin grabbed three massive points on Saturday in their 4-2 victory vs. Freiburg as the Bundesliga underdogs look to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history. Two goals from Sheraldo “Spider-Man” Becker helped get the job done.
In the 36th minute with Union Berlin leading 1-0, Becker doubled the lead by sneaking his shot through the goalkeeper’s legs. For his celebration he whipped out a Spider-Man mask from his pants and then struggled to put it on his head.

Becker received a yellow card for the celebration.
I have so many questions. For starters, what was his plan if he didn’t score in the game? Was he just going to play an entire game with a Spider-Man mask around his crotch? Also, no offense, but the last thing I want to put on my face is a mask that’s been soaking up gooch sweat. No thanks.
Funny enough, Becker scored a second goal just two minutes later. I don’t think he was anticipating a sequel so quickly as he didn’t have a second celebration planned.
It really was the Becker show with him scoring a brace and assisting Union Berlin’s other two goals. Quite the heroic performance as his side sit third in the Bundesliga and open a three-point gap on fifth place Freiburg.
