So we’re 10 match days into Serie A action and the stupid levels of excitement coming out of Italy show no signs of abating. After Wednesday’s midweek matches, we find Napoli at the top of the table with INTER MILAN two points back. Right behind them we have six-time defending champions Juventus and then Lazio. We’d be remiss not to mention Roma as well — they still have a game in hand on the clubs above them.
The charge of these five clubs is mirrored in the Serie A top scorers chart. Napoli are led by Dries Mertens (9 goals), Inter Milan Mauro Icardi (11), Juventus Paulo Dybala (11), Lazio Ciro Immobile (13) and Roma Edin Dzeko (7). On Wednesday, both Mertens and Dybala scored stunning goals — Mertens actually scored two.
Additionally, Federico Bernardeschi scored an almighty banger for Juve and Suso curled in a brilliant effort for AC Milan. You’re going to want to see all five of them, so here you go.
Serie A returns over the weekend with the key matchup being Milan vs. Juventus on Saturday. Leonardo Bonucci’s red card against Genoa last Sunday rules him out of Juve’s highly anticipated visit to the San Siro.
