One game into the Mkhitaryan-Aubameyang Era, and Arsenal fans have declared victory. The New Arsenal is here.
It was a good game. A great game, in fact. Aaron Ramsey scored the first hat-trick of his career. Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored the first hat-trick of assists of this season – or, in fact, any Premier League season since 2013. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his first goal for Arsenal, even if it was a little suspect.
The final score of 5-1 reflected well Arsenal's dominance over Everton. Hell, even Rihanna was on-hand to commemorate what surely must be the end of the Banter Era and the beginning of a new era at Arsenal. Right?

The truth is, we have no idea if this commemorates the beginning of anything new at Arsenal. In the immortal words of Erasmus (who we're pretty sure was a Tottenham man), one great game does not a great season make. Or something like that.
That won't stop Arsenal fans from declaring point, set, match on fourth place finishes. Indicative of the spirit of Arsenal fans, normally-understated TV personality Piers Morgan had this to say:
BOOOOOOM!!! 4-0. Finally, we have a proper striker again! Love love LOVE @Aubameyang7 pic.twitter.com/P8zRoQpNnm

Fear not. If you are having a hard time understanding the emotional high that Gooners like our friend Piers are feeling right now, we have translated it into a series of GIFs that even the most cold-hearted Tottenham fans will understand. So, with no further ado, let's break down the match from the perspective of Arsenal fans.
