Newly promoted Premier League side Aston Villa faced off with Charlton Athletic in a summer friendly today, but some players are obviously showing maximum effort.
Villa’s John McGinn went full-power super saiyan while scoring two goals and providing an assist.
McGinn first got on the board in the 57th minute with a great strike, deflecting off the Charlton keeper’s foot from about 22 yards out for the goal.

But McGinn's magic moment came in the 83rd minute, and he went off.
The midfielder dogged Charlton defenders trying to clear a pass and after avoiding him twice, he finally managed a clean steal.
The Scottish star wasted no time and went for the kill.

After nearly being tripped up, he bested the goalie, drawing him well outside the goal, and sent his second goal to the back of the net past two more defenders.
McGinn has proven he is an absolute animal and is showing some good flashes for Villa, which is returning to the EPL for the first time following relegation three years ago.
Aston Villa is less than two weeks away from its return and will have its hands full travelling to Tottenham for the season opener.
