United States men’s national team fans and Mexico supporters must learn to get along as the biggest star from each of their respective teams are set to become partners. A Santiago Giménez AC Milan transfer will see the Mexico striker join forces with Christian Pulisic.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, the El Tri forward will join the Rossoneri from Dutch side Feyenoord on a roughly $36 million transfer.

Milan’s go-to striker this season has been Alvaro Morata, however he will be leaving the club to join Galatasaray. This opens the door for Giménez to take the starting striker role. He scored 65 goals in 105 total appearances for Feyenoord.
If Giménez does start at striker then he’ll play alongside USMNT icon Pulisic. The American has arguably been Milan’s best player this season with 12 goals and seven assists in 27 appearances this season across all competitions.
Pulisic was recently voted Milan’s player of the month for January.

The discourse online has already seen some USMNT and Mexico fans clash about which player is better.

As we’ve seen in the Premier League as recently as Saturday, American and Mexican players can form lethal partnerships. USMNT and Fulham fullback Antonee Robinson assisted Mexico’s Raúl Jiménez once again during their side’s 2-1 victory vs. Newcastle.

How funny would it be if Pulisic and Giménez become the best of friends while at Milan? The 23-year-old Mexican striker has made 32 appearances for the national team so far and scored four goals.
There’s a decent chance that the USMNT and Mexico will face off in the Concacaf Nations League final on March 23.
