On Tuesday, Williams went to the top of the Empire State Building to sign a new multi-year contract with NJ/NY Gotham FC through the 2025 season.

On Wednesday, Williams — after being left off the 2019 roster — was officially named to the USWNT's 2023 World Cup squad and made an appearance on NBC's TODAY Show.
On Friday, the 30-year-old was at Yankee Stadium throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before the New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers game.

On Sunday night, Williams started and scored in Gotham's 2-1 victory over the Chicago Red Stars at Red Bull Arena. Shortly after halftime, the attacker took a cushioned touch in the area before swiveling and lobbing an effort over Alyssa Naeher.

It's her seventh goal in 13 games this season, good for joint-third in the Golden Boot race. We're expecting big things from the forward in Australia and New Zealand.
Cari Roccaro equalized for Chicago, but Allie Long scored the winner for Gotham with a must-watch free kick.
