After Nike set the bar about as low as it gets for the USMNT in Qatar, we're happy to report that the USWNT jersey options for the 2023 World Cup are much more desirable.
The sales people said we'd learn to love the USMNT kits eventually, but it's been five months and I still don't like them. As for the latest USWNT efforts, I do believe these will look better and better as the team moves toward the World Cup final in Sydney.

The new home kit has a Jackson Pollock "drip technique" kind of design. The interesting result of this is that no two jersey patterns are the same. The gold accents on the Swoosh and four World Cup stars make things pop, and there's a call-out to those winning years inside the collar.
To be honest I thought the USWNT was only getting a new home kit, so the new away jersey is a welcome surprise. It's blue and abstract much like the USMNT kit was, except the new USWNT jersey adds some bold red detailing to the sleeves, the Swoosh, the collar and the badge.
The more I look at it, the more I like it.
The jerseys are available now at the official U.S. Soccer store and retailing for $150 (includes name, number and FIFA badge).
