Two bomb explosions near Vodafone Arena, home of professional club Besiktas, have killed 13 people and injured many others according to initial reports out of Istanbul, Turkey.
The explosions happened about two hours after fans left the stadium following today's match between top Turkish clubs Besiktas and Bursaspor. Transport Minister Ahmet Arslan wrote on Twitter that it was a terror attack.
İstanbul Beşiktaş'taki alçak terör saldırısını kınıyor, yaralılarımıza acil şifalar diliyorum.

"[We] condemn the terrorist attacks," the Tweet reads. "I wish a speedy recovery to our injured."
Officials believe one of the attacks was carried out by a suicide bomber and the other a car bomb, both targeting police officers.
